No. 21 Smokey Charcoal Soap Bar
A vegan soap bar made with a good dollop of unrefined shea butter and ultra fine high grade activated charcoal powder which is a fantastic addition in soaps. The charcoal helps to trap and absorb toxins from the skin. Charcoal is great to use on all skin types ,effective in treating oily skin, acne, renounded for cleaning pores and removing unwanted oil from face and body .
This soap is fragranced with frankincense and patchouli essential oil blend so smells as smokey as it looks.
Frankincense essential oil is reputed to have healing and rejuvenating effects on the skin so this soap bar is a make over in a bar.
As with all of my soaps this variety will be available in all three bar sizes.

Looking after your soap
Handmade soaps will perform better if they can be kept dry when not being used. They will absorb water and become soft if sitting in water.
Draining soap dishes are available on my website to help with this if required.
Handmade soaps are essentially hardened blocks of a combination of oils with other ingredients including essential / fragrance oils added.
When using them it takes a bit of getting used too, that actually only a few turns of the soaps in the hand are usually enough and as you rub your hands together the lather increases ,so unlike 'normal' soaps not a lot is needed.
If you enjoy coupious amounts of lather,as I do,then use a bath scrunchie or natural sponge . I have these available though I am sourcing non plastic versions currently and these will be available soon. Please see my accessories page for these.
Caring For Your soap : Between uses allow the bar to dry out throughly or they will go soft if let in water or in a humid place and will not last nearly as long.

Packaging Information
Soaps are Wrapped with 100% recycled kraft paper and presented in a fully biodagradable bag made from wood pulp. The bag is also fully compostable. Cut the bag into smaller pieces and just put into your compost heap or place in your green collection bin.
All paper offcuts are either further recycled and remade into handmade paper sheets used for postal orders or are composted.
The only part of all my packaging that are not biodagradable is the wax stamp on the large bars and the greaseproof paper used to wrap the round soaps.
